Social Welfare Deportment has released a new notification for the post of  12 District Coordinator, Block Coordinator and Project Assistant Vacancy under the State Project Director, POSHAN Abhiyaan, Assam. Interested and eligible candidates may apply here.

Social Welfare – Recruitment 2021

1) Name of post:- District Coordinator

No of post:- 2 (Nagaon, Tinsukia - 1 each)

Fixed Monthly remuneration:- Rs - 30,000/- per month

Age limit:- 18 to 40 years.

2) Name of post:- Block Coordinator

No of post:- 6 (Bongaigaon, Dhubri, Goalpara, Jorhat, Kamrup Rural, Udalguri - 1 each)

Fixed Monthly remuneration:- Rs - 20,000/- per month

Age limit:- 18 to 40 years

3) Name of post:- Project Assistant (Block Level)

No of post:- 4 (Cachar, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Sivasagar - 1 each)

Fixed Monthly remuneration:- Rs - 15,000/- per month

Age limit:- 18 to 40 years.

Eligibility criteria for Social Welfare Recruitment 2021

a) Candidates' age must be between 18 to 40 years. 

b) Age Relaxation for The candidates a  upper age limit relaxation for candidates of belonging to reserved categories are as follows:-

a) OBC/ MOBC: 3 years

b) SC/ ST: 5 years

c) PWD: 10 years

Educational Qualification:-

a) District Coordinator:- Candidate must be graduate or certification/ diploma in Computer Science or IT.

b) Block Coordinator- Candidate must be graduate .

c) Project Assistant (Block Level):- Candidate must be graduate.

Working experience for 

1) District Coordinator:- 

a) At least 2 years experience in application maintenance and support.

b) Good oral and written communication skills in local language.

c) Computer literacy must.

2) Block Coordinator:- 

a) At least 2 years experience of working with technology and software application support.

b) Good oral and written communication skills in local language.

c) Mandatorily local candidates should be engaged.

3) Project Assistant (Block Level):-

a) At least 2 years experience of working with Community/ Local Government.

b) Good oral and written communication skills in local language.

c) Mandatorily local candidates should be engaged.

How to apply for Social Welfare Recruitment 2021

a) Interested candidates may apply as per the prescribed Application Format (Annexure-I) along with self-attested copies of testimonials relating to educational qualification, experience, etc. Candidates applying for multiple positions will have to submit separate application forms against each post. Candidates will have to produce the original certificates as and when required.

b) The application should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly mentioning the post applied for at the top and addressed to concerned District Social Welfare Officer Office.

c) As a proof of residence, the applicant will have to submit photocopy of any one document, namely, Voter ID/PRC/Employment exchange Registration No./Resident certificate from the concerned Circle Officer.
