UPSC CDS 2 Examination 2021 – Apply Online 339 Vacancy

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a new notification for the recruitment of 339 Vacancy Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam 2 2021. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here.

UPSC CDS 2 Examination 2021

Name of exam:- Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam II 2021.

No of post:- 339 post

Name of the Course and Approximate No. of Vacancies:-

a) Indian Military Academy, Dehradun  - 100 Vacancies, 

[including 13 vacancies reserved for 

NCC `C’ Certificate (Army Wing) holders].

b) Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala  - 22 Vacancies,

[including 03 vacancies for NCC ‘C’ Certificate 

(Naval Wing through NCC Special Entry ) holders. 

c) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad  - 32 Vacancies,

[including 03 vacancies are reserved for 

NCC `C’ Certificate (Air Wing) holders through 

NCC Spl. Entry].

d) Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) - 169 Vacancies,

e) Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) - 16 Vacancies,

The Examination will be held at the following Centres:- 

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CDS II Examination 2021:-

1) Nationality: A candidate must be unmarried and must either be:

a) A Citizen of India, or

b) A subject of Nepal, or

c) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, 6 Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status :-

a) Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1998 and not later than 1st July, 2003 only are eligible.

b) For Indian Naval Academy:- Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1998 and not later than 1st July, 2003 only are eligible.

c) For Air Force Academy:-

20 to 24 years as on 1 st July, 2022 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd July, 1998 and not later than 1st July, 2002 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 2nd July, 1996 and not later than 1st July, 2002 only are eligible.

d) For Officers' Training Academy:- (SSC Course for men) unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1997 and not later than 1st July, 2003 only are eligible.

e) For Officers' Training Academy:- (SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1997 and not later than 1st July, 2003.

Educational Qualifications:- 

1) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai — Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.

 (ii) For Indian Naval Academy—Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution. 

(iii) For Air Force Academy—Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. 

Application Fee:-

a) For Others candidates: Rs. 200/-

b) For Female/ SC/ ST Candidates: NIL

c) Payment Mode:- Candidates can pay either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card.

4) Make payment of application fee as per your category and submit the form.

5) and last one, take a print out of the application form.

2) Last Date to Apply Online: 24-08-2020 till 06:00 PM.

3) Date for Online Application Withdrawn: 31-08 to 06-09-2021 till 06:00 PM.

4) Last Date for Fee Payment (Pay by cash): 23-08-2021 at 11:59 PM.

5) Last Date for Fee Payment (online): 24-08-2021 till 06:00 PM.

6) Date for Exam: 14-11-2021.
